This is our 39th
show, and it is one that begins the month that we like to recognize as
Mom's Month. One day isn't enough to recognize what all mom does
throughout the year, so we dedicate the entire month of May to moms. Of
course, we want to wish you all a Happy Mother's Day (celebrated
May 11th), and a Happy BirthMom's Day (celebrated May 10th).
We always encourage anyone fortunate enough to have a birthmom, to be
sure to remember them in whatever way promised, but BirthMom's Day is
yet another touching way to let them know you're thinking of them and
that you appreciate the tremendous gift they had given you. There is a
website that specializes in gift ideas and lovely cards that are
specifically for birthmoms. That site is
Heart Mark
Designs. You can also find on that site the story behind the history
of BirthMom's Day.
Today we have a guest on our show that shares with us a little Mother's
Day story of her own. Holly is an adoptee that works for A Labor of Love
Adoptions, and she tells us why she will be having one of the most
memorable Mother's Days of her life this year.
And one other point
of mention comes from Shola Oslo from London, who had sent me the link
to an incredible new video that describes and shows a massage technique
she calls The Chinese Fertility Massage. You can learn how to do this

We want to share any and all information that will possibly help you get
to your baby...whether it be through contributing factors toward
healing, new and improved assisted reproductive technology, or advice
and information on adoption...as we all find our success in the quest to
motherhood through different means.
Happy Mother's Day to you all! And Happy Mom's Month to all of you
mothers, mothers-to-be and mothers-in-waiting.
And to you
mothers-in-waiting...be as strong as you can. This is a difficult day
for you, I know. But feel the joy deep inside, KNOWING that you WILL be
a mom on Mother's Day...maybe next year... but it WILL happen.
Remember:
Shout out to God and the universe what it is that you want. They will
correspond with the nature of the song that dwells within your heart.

the Journeys To Motherhood Internet Talk Radio Show
and Podcast! I'm Barbara Winters, and I'm thrilled to have
this opportunity to share with you my story, my challenges
and especially my success at the end of a very long journey.
There are many women in this world suffering from
infertility, and it is one of the most difficult challenges
a woman can face. Women from all walks of life will be
sharing with us the amazing stories of their unique paths to
motherhood. If you have a story you'd like to share, one
that would inspire and encourage other women who are going
through this as well, please contact me.
We are all sisters, and we were all born with the blessing
to reproduce. I am here for those of you who
find it NOT to be such an easy and natural task. I found my
baby-in-waiting through adoption, but there are many other
avenues that women take to motherhood, and I want to explore
them all. This is a show to uplift, encourage, give hope,
and maybe cause a tear or two. Yet much laughter is on the
docket as well, for laughter helps to heal everything!
